inclinometers
Sensors For Tilt Measurement
Inclinometers are measurement devices for determining the tilt/inclination of a surface that the devices is mounted on. Siko's inclinometers use the MEMS principle (Micro Electronic Mechanical System) in which a series of electrodes are housed in a hermetically sealed ASIC. The capacitive voltage between the electrodes is continuously measured. The measurement can be done in either one plane (0-360o) or in two planes. These devices can offer a system accuracy of 0.1o and a resolution of 0.01o . The output signal provided can be analogue (0-10V or 4-20mA) or digital (RS232 or CANopen). These devices can be programmed to suit the specific application requirements.
