During the early 1990s a Danish company required a compact inline actuator, however as a suitable product was not available on the market, a new design was developed. This new design was nominated for several design prizes, and based on that Concens was formed. Single Axis Battery Powered Controller

The C3-CON-0W is a battery powered controller specifically designed for mobile applications. This controller can be used with a single actuator, together with a wired handset and a NiMH battery. The battery is inserted into the housing, which is self aligned and held in place using powerful magnets. The battery is charged using a standalone battery charger, powered from AC mains. The C2-CON-0W monitors the battery level and informs the user when the battery requires charging, by means of a buzzer.
