Established in 1947 by Zeno Carpanelli, Carpanelli Motori Elettrici S.p.A. designs and manufactures a wide range of asynchronous electric motors. Under the skilled guide of its founder, the company has evolved and expanded over the years, and now is a leader in technological innovation of AC motors. 83% of the company’s production consists of special and customised motors, for customers who require special bespoke solutions, and require a reliable and 100% made in Italy product. Carpanelli’s strong technical and engineering department, has a wealth of knowledge in the design of electric motors and provide customised solutions. 3D CAD models are available on request and mathematical simulation of the equivalent electric circuit of the motor are provided. Carpanelli also has got a metrology laboratory, capable of pointing out the dynamic performances of the motor, its thermal equilibrium and short circuit characteristics. There are three testing benches that can test powers from 30W to 25kW. Since 1995, a quality control department for material supplied by external suppliers has been established, in order to ensure the quality of the final product. All this has enabled Carpanelli Motori Elettrici S.p.A., to gain more than 70 years of activity and experience in the sector, to become a specialised company in the design and machining of totally non-standard products, in order to meet specific customer requirements.

Carpanelli AC Induction motors cover the power range from 60W up to 22kW. They are offered in wide variety of bespoke designs to suit specific application requirements. Customisation includes special shaft and body designs, variery of feedback devices, brakes, harsh environment surface treatments, hygienic, stainless steel, UL Certified and inverter mounted.
